If you are an existing subscriber, you can get 12 months for the same price, just no Echo Dot, and you don't have to talk to a sales person to get it:

My trial has been expired for a while so I decided to sign back up. My daughter will have fun with the Dot. Total was $76.84 after taxes and fees

I'm a long-time subscriber, normally at $5 or $6/mo in 5- or 6- month batches. Getting $5 locked in for a year, plus an Echo Dot, is a no-brainer if you want the service. I've been listening to it at home through https://player.siriusxm

That car was stolen last year and I bought a new car last Thanksgiving, also with a Sirius trial.
I'm getting double calls and junk mail for both the 2017's 2020's trials expiring. I thought about re-upping with this deal 1) to make them stop calling me and 2) because it's not a bad deal....but, I remember what a complete pain in the booty it was to cancel, so I've dragged my feet on pulling the trigger. I get tempted, but the twitch in my eye and the prior bad experience definitely makes me think twice.
