Lowe's site has been so glitchy for 24 hrs. It shows available for pickup but it doesn't give option to select pickup......so lame

Figured rust would be a factor to go aluminum. The wider frame members alone should make it more rigid. My silder is under cover so it should receive no direct rain. A steel screen door is better than none, so I'll see how it goes.

About an inch too tall for my Anderson door. I'm not sure which one is the odd size ... damn, I could use a new one!
Its adjustable... check the installation video to see if it'll work for you.

Are these screen doors for replacement only? Does it comes with any rails? If I have rolling retractable screen, would it fit into the existing rails or I'd have to install a whole new screen doors with fitting rails? Thanks.

I bought the $50 aluminum one and already brought it home. I pulled off the plastic to install it and there was a bend in the edge. Now I need to waste 45 minutes taking it back. So a word of advice: take it out of the packaging and check it out before you leave the store.

No. This is a replacement for a sliding glass door that already has a rail in place.

Aluminum worth the extra?
I'm the poster child for cheapskate. However, I went for the aluminum, rather than the steel. I'm hoping that it will be more durable and I really don't want to have to wonder how long until the steel starts showing rust.

I think that the steel one is adjustable.
