Availability for shipping may be regional, especially for the Google Shopping option in the front page post. So if it's OOS for you, try another zip or city if you can.
By starting new threads when the same sale item comes back in stock, you lose all the potentially useful comments. If un-expiring a thread is hard, then one could merge the old thread comments into the new one when it goes FP (again).
This was due to bad parts supplied on an older model. Nothing related to this newer model, unless you can provide additional details.
Agreed. I don't post hardly ever but after seeing so many people interested in the last deal and being an SD browser for years, I felt it was my duty to inform the community. It would be easier to report to SD that a deal was back up and have it continue on a front page thread. I don't care for the credit as long as the community is informed!

This one seems to keep bouncing in and out of stock. I ordered one on 4/4 that only had the option of curbside pickup on 4/15. At least last time, the option of shipping to your home disappeared first, followed by going completely out of stock - so if you're thinking about ordering for shipping to your house, I'd jump on it soon.

I just ordered one for shipping. Missed it last time because I couldn't decide.

Anyone know for sure if this has eARC? Some mentioned yes from firmware update and some say no. I tried looking up latest firmware on Onkyo website and it doesn't say much about eARC. https://www.intl.onkyo.com/suppor...nr686.html

BTW, I bought another one of these a few months back for $400. I'm no home theater pro, but I love it. For this price, you can't beat it.

My high end Yamaha gives me constant issues. I had the previous model of this onkyo and it was way nicer. I do miss my old denon though.
