Yeah fellas this is a deal even if it does have a 60hz panel because the color accuracy on Samsung TVs are normally spot on. So in conclusion this is perfect if you need a huge TV for a bedroom or game room but really don't need a perfect picture.

In for for 1. Been looking for a solid 75" TV for our living room for about two months. Our needs are not super high, we watch a little netflix and I play some video games so we are fine without a top of the line unit. This is the best bang for your buck TV I've seen since I've been on the hunt. Thanks OP!
i think sony makes the 85" and samsung is only up to 82" and LG makes the 86" LG's is hovering around 1600. Im waiting for that to drop a few hundred.
The inexpensive 82" LG and the 82" Samsung that just dropped to $1200 are VA panels. Just good enough contrast/black levels imho.
I'm not sure about the Samsungs but the low cost 86" LG's are IPS panels and the contrast/black levels aren't good enough (again my .02). So if you want big and cheap my .02 the 82" are the way to go.
That is until this $700 75" Samsung rolled out on the field. It's really insane. TV's are turning into smart devices where they want that tasty user data so much the prices are dropping and dropping and dropping.
My first plasma was a 42" and I'm pretty sure it was over $2k.

If the monsters like you mention keep dropping in price I will end up with a 75 inch in the bedroom and that 60 inch...somewhere
