I would say the one you linked is better but it's more expensive and not available for shipping. That said, if your local Staples has one, I think I'd rather have that one. Mine didn't have any in stock.
Resolution is on the low-end for me, and the brightness isn't bad - just not great. It's an IPS so the viewing angles are good (versus TN or VA), but VGA connector? That's some old school stuff.
I'd pass and wait for a 2560 or other connector (e.g. DP) as well.
