It will work fine for most household jobs. I have the Subaru version that Costco had on sale over a year ago and it has been up to the tasks. Pressure washed the house this past weekend; dang pollen.
I'm wondering the same thing. I'm thinking about buying this because of the deal and the Costco warranty.
This would work fine for that. Just get a quality deck stripper and then use a wood brightener afterwards. I usually use woodrich hd-80 stripper. Just remember not to get too close to the wood with the washer and use a wide tip 25° or 40°.
I'm not sure why the TD's either. I just bought one last night. I am no PW expert. I've seen people say they prefer a Honda or similar engine over Briggs, but this just seemed like best all around deal for right now. The fact that it comes delivered for same price as in store, and I have it dropped on my step as opposed to having to deal with going to any local store right, that's huge for me.

I was just going to ask if it's cheaper in store.
If it's the same I may as well let them deliver it.
I ended up buying this. Costco warranty made the deal for me. Good luck finding a high quality one at a better price, I've been on the hunt for a month.
Regarding the Honda over the Briggs- sure maybe the Honda is better technology, but for what it's worth I've got an old piece of crap lawn mower that sits behind my shed all year round with a Briggs engine in it. The only thing I've had to do is simple maintenance and it starts every time. For a pressure washer the pump is the danger zone. Even the higher priced other models have crappy pumps.

The thumb downs are because the price is not listed (required of all posts) in the thread title. People aren't even getting past this before td.
