PS4 Digital Game: Knack 2 Free (Through May 5th)

As part of the European play at home initiative, PlayStation is giving away Journey (same as the US) and Knack 2 (not available free on the US PSN store) on the German PSN store. Because PS4 games are region free, you can sign up for a free German PSN account, claim Knack 2, download it to your PS4, and play as normal.

This works on ALL PS4 systems worldwide.

To get the deal.

1) Create a German PSN account.
2) Log in to your PS4 with the German account and set your system as PRIMARY.
3) Claim Knack 2 [playstation.com] from the German PSN store.
4) Download Knack 2 to your PS4.
5) Log into your regular US account and play as normal.

Combine this with the US game offer, and you'll have three free games instead of just two. Peace

Note: The same offer, for a free copy of Knack 2 [playstation.com], is also available in the Chinese PSN store.

Put unknown in the address box when signing up a different county account sony won't know but be sure to have a working email address though

Sony has never banned for having multi-region accounts. You are free to do so, just as folks outside of the US are free to make US accounts.

You just set your region to Germany (or China if you want to make a Chinese PSN account). You can do it on the console or on the web, whatever is easier for you.

My Hong Kong account just shows the same games as US, no Knack 2.

Does anyone know when this ends. So we know how soon we have to accomplish this

edit: In Germany and China, users will have access to Knack 2 and Journey for free for a limited time (Thursday 16th April 1am CEST / 4am CST through Wednesday, 6th May 1am CEST / 4am CST)

That is because Hong Kong accounts get the same offer as the US.

If you want a free copy of Knack 2, you need to setup a Chinese or German account. Any other region account (Aus, Hong Kong, UK, etc.) gets the same offer as the US.

I did log out and log in with the new german account but gives me an error. Cannot use another account here. I made 2 two profiles and it starts downloading. now let's wait and see if this could work.

I was able to create the German account using the PS4 and download Knack 2 without any issues. I also logged off the German account and logged into my main US account and am able to play Knack 2 without any issues. Thanks OP
