The cheaper L27q has a brighter, better 350nits, 10bit display vs the 300nits, 8bit. It is also a 2017 model.
Both have the same 60-75hz refresh rate.
The more expensive Q27q does have a lower response time of 6ms vs 14ms and is a 2019 model.

Please be aware the bezel on the sides are a lot thicker than advertised. This marketing pictures are very misleading.

Product pics are blatantly false - they make the bezels look non-existent. IRL, you will see significant bezels.

Are you sure it has no VESA? I'm looking at the pictures and it shows it has VESA mounts.

Q27q has one, but it's slightly dimmer.

I briefly read this review saying the response time is around 9.2 ms for L27q, not sure if 14ms is counted as a safe side. Struggle to make a decision between the two models.

I tend to move this to my office which is very bright, though not sure when I can do it due to the pandemic.

Yes, when I was reading there were two response times quoted. One being minimum, the other average. For the sake of my post, I chose to state the average.
If gaming, I would think the lower response would be beneficial, although, with both being limited to the 60Hz or overdriven 75Hz refresh rate could be a downer.
Deciding between the two depends on a use case scenario.

Got it. I was about to get a $150 used Samsung 28-inch 4k TN display since I need a display to show more lines of texts plus to do some casual photo editing... I think at least L27q would be an easier one with an IPS panel. Don't care about the response time unless I can type fast enough to catch the limit... LOL Thank you!
