I've had my AirPods Pro since release, reply to me if you have any specific questions from a user perspective. They are a nice upgrade from the 1st and 2nd series, the active noise cancelation and transparency mode are the real deal. They are great combo with the Apple Watch when you're outside on a bike ride, run, walk etc. They have never even come close to falling out in the 100+ miles I've ran with them. I'd still pay $250 for these.
Regular AirPods don't stay in my ears so I bought the pros. They have been great, especially with Zoom meetings since working from home. I did have an issue with the right AirPod failing the fit test but Apple sent me a replacement and within one day I was back in order.
Still expensive no matter how you slice it but so far After 5 months, they seem worth it.
Try reading some reviews. Expensive, and not for everyone, but definitely not trash.

I just bought the normal 2nd series. Are they $100 better and do you suggest a return and repurchase?

Yes. The noise canceling mode is amazing. It's better than all buds you can get on market. It even has better performance than most of nc headphones. For $100 more, it is worth the difference. Also Apple accessories have better compatibility with iPhone than third parties'.

I have these, these are my first pair of noise canceling Headphones. So I don't really have anything to compare them to. I had to do a warranty exchange because the right one would crackle if your coughed or talked to loudly. Like something with a little bass outside noise. So they exchanged it, and now the left side has the crackle noise. A way to troubleshoot is to go to the quick setting, and recreate the bass sound. It should crackle with noise canceling on and transparency, but when it's off it doesn't happen. Anyone else have this same problem? I haven't gotten them wet, they're mostly used to game or watch movies.
These are the first AirPods I've bought, simply because of the soft tips. Those hard ones feel like I've taken those earring gages and I am stretching my ear canal open.

What % volume do you use them on? How long do you think they will last on full blast? My gym (god I miss the gym) would play their music so loud lol.
