The only difference I see is the bottom (black portion) folds up on this one but not on the one sold at Costco. I love the one I purchased at Costco. Even given the hand truck as a gift I liked it so much. The black portion folding up makes this hand truck better than the one at Costco!

i have costco one, got it 5 months ago and the black toe portion does fold.

no doubt amazon 4 in 1 is better because it gives the resting angle which is helpful than the costco one. but i would like to say that the truck is wobbly in construction.i tried atleast 10 in costco and all of them were wobbly.eventhough you put weight on it, it still wobbles.

also, the surface area is not that much. i mean if you place a 18 gallon tote , it will fall on its own beacuse there is no much surface to seat even small tote.

be cautious before buying. buy it if you gona use it everyday to get your moneys worth

The Costco hand truck I have, I purchased about 5-6 years. It didn't have a folding bottom (black part) but it did have the resting angle. I love this hand truck! Some guys moved my broken hot tub out of my backyard using that hand truck.

ok then it makes sense as yours is 5-6 year old.so costco updated the model by downgrading its functionality (4th positions) but gave folding toe feature.
i think 4th position is more helpful than folding toe
