Every "upgrade" deal including the Black Friday ones have a credit pull involved
Every "upgrade" deal also makes you either trade your device in or gives you bill credits spread out over 24-30 months
Not to mention 95% of deals are only for NEW LINES not upgrades and if the deal are offered for upgrades the deal/trade in value is severely reduced.
This is $200 off straight up off an iPhone that hasnt even been released and the tax you are being charged is on the discounted price (where most deals charge you on the price before the discount)
$200 + tax ($9-11) + $40 activation fee (which most likely will get waived) = $251
Keep this phone for 7 months until Black Friday and trade it in for $250-300 and buy yourself a new iPhone 12 on sale during Black Friday.
If you get the activation fee waived and sell it online for $300 you would be making close to $100 for using a brand new iPhone for 7 months.
This is the best iPhone deal in the past 10 years or more.
So calling it shitty is beyond stupid.

I have no doubt that people are getting tired of seeing this deal pop up. But the fact remains that Verizon and AT&T are the largest cell carriers and there are a bunch of people trying to get in on this deal. Sorry it doesn't work for you, I hope it helps someone. 🍻

i agree with you. but theres actually slickdeals people who actually dont mind paying the crazy monthly prices of att and verizon. i know it seems redundant but hey theres different levels of slickdealers out there.
How are they ripoff services but the other cell service companies aren't?
Verizon is at the top on almost any best list and AT&T is 2nd or 3rd.
Same here
