My .02.

I have a hybrid that I purchased from Sam's Club online for around $400. It is a great bed - although my back still hurts I don't think it's my bed's fault. I bought one of the medium firm 'foam - over springs'' bed in box. In my opinion these are the way to go over memory foam if you're on the bigger side. They still have the bounce of a spring mattress but they also have the softness of a foam. I actually have a 1" foam topper on mine to add a little softness. That way works for me. As far as THIS deal, I think I'd stay away. You can get the same or cheaper from Sam's or another place and have the option to return it if you need to. You're paying for the Simmons name to forego the ability to return. And is the Simmons name really that great? Trust me, the Zinus and other cheap options have it figured out as much as Simmons or Serta.

I purchased one on amazon that is a combo of foam and springs and I am happy with it so far. Had it for 6 months.

You can always just buy a nice $100 pillow-top mattress topper. They add like an extra 2" of memory foam or gel or whatever material you want to the top of your mattress
