Firestone 50% Off Any Oil Change for Essential Service Providers (Not Just Healthcare Providers!)

+16 Deal Score
4,906 Views
I've seen a lot of people complaining about COVID-19 deals excluding essential workers such as grocery store employees, so I figured this deal might be helpful. Firestone is giving 50% off any oil change for essential workers, which includes medical professionals, caregivers, first responders, military personnel, grocery store employees, and food delivery services.

Click on the link to print coupon. Good through 4/30/20.

I guess by default most people needing an oil change are essential workers as everyone else should have their car parked at home Stick Out Tongue

I redact all of my statements based on reading the Yelp of my local Firestone Complete Auto Service.
Total joke and I also remember my few experiences with them myself. Yes, they are complete jokes.

I think that depends on each store? Also, this is just an oil change, so I wouldn't sweat too much. Sorry that your local firestone sucks that badly though.

Thanks...but no thanks. They will just gouge the money by upselling.

Just did this. Synthetic oil change came to $35. It cost me $25 just for a jug of oil from Walmart

They were very elusive on quoting pricing over the phone. Pricing depends on make and model of the vehicle. The shop also stated that their regular oil change is already on sale so 50% off doesn't apply. Doesn't matter because they also said they would not do a regular oil change on your vehicle if the manufacturer recommended anything else (i.e. Dexos/Chevrlotet).

Want to share my experience, it was awesome ! Called ahead to set up appointment, rep was helpful . Was in and out in 30 min . Total was 40$ ... really 35$ plus like a $3 labor fee and tax ... got a little laugh when the sales rep couldn't drive a stick so he had to wait for the mechanic to drive my car in the shop hehe . They didn't even ask for proof that I was an essential employee. cheers
