Walmart has select 43" TCL 4K UHD HDR LED Roku Smart TV 4 Series (43S421) + Google Home Mini (Aqua) & Frozen II Book Bundle on sale for $218. Shipping is free. Thanks delz4stelz
The TCL 4 series 43" is the best value-minded option for 4K computer monitor on a budget. Decent image quality, 4:4:4 chroma, and 60hz over all HDMI ports makes a TCL a much better value than most super wide monitors.
I have one on my desk and sitting 2 feet away text looks sharp with no scaling needed.
Wasn't sure about the TV, but that Frozen 2 book put me over the edge.
You know the model is kind of important. I can say I have a Ford and Ferrari and the Ford is far better.
It's a Ford GT btw.

I know it's irrelevant but, the 55" R6 has been $229 at BB. Multiple times. Bought 3. All have been fine. Not great. Just fine. Visible flickering. Weak HDR. Good for the price.
Just saying, $250 for a 50" ain't a good deal, just wait it out...
I am unsure as to the model but I own both a hisense and a TCL and the hisense is far better quality. Both Roku identical.
I agree on the quality of Hisense. Our Hisense 50H7GB2 has better overall contrast and picture quality than our 75" 2019 P-series Vizio. The Vizio does have a better peak brightness and richer color, but has a lot of light bleed where the Hisense does not.

No clue why you're getting the downvotes, I'd put this in my garage, greenhouse, or by the pool not in my living room.
For a garage I would really recommend just getting the biggest TV you can currently afford. I would rather get a 55" 1080 than a 42" 4k.
