The Calphalon Premier 5-Pc. Space Saving Stainless Steel Cookware Set securely stacks to save 30% more space. This cookware's unique cookware design and flat glass covers also stack and nest in any order.
Bought this set a year ago on a Treasure Truck special. Use them a lot. As per all stainless things, it will wear/things will get 'surface dirty'. Food doesnt stick, you can scrub these, but I wouldn't put them in the dishwasher. The lids are nice, they 'lock' in place, the fact that it stacks helps keep the storage down to a minimum.
Someone said they are heavy - yes they are - and that's a VERY good thing. This means they hold heat well, and are going to last. I paid about $20 more than this, and would DEF repurchase.
For reference, I also have lots of All-Clad D5 pieces, and this is close enough.
Helpful hint : if you use stainless and think its 'gross' when it changes a bit, just get some barkeepers friend. Turns them into new with a little bit of elbow grease (sold separately).
Y'all need to watch this short video. So many people don't know how to properly use stainless steel cookware.
As for eggs, keep on hand a high quality nonstick skillet, imo. But if you must use stainless with eggs, you have to watch this video.
Good deal. Great that it's stainless and not nonstick, much better than the Costco version. Nonstick doesn't last, stainless will last more than a lifetime.

Why is that? I have a double boiler from this line and it seems pretty nice.
