If you can swing another $100 the Vizio M658-G1 gets good marks and is a safe bet for a TV. The built in UI stinks but is functional and if you already have a Roku or something then use that. Its easily $100 better with QLED and full array backlighting vs this standard edge lit tv.
Good question. Also which name brand 65 inch TV one can get at this price point that is better than this.

How does this compare to a Samsung - 65" Class - LED - NU6900 Series - 2160p - Smart - 4K UHD TV with HDR
I know nothing about TVs but they look to be similar in price.
I have an LG LED and think it's a great 4K TV. I don't want to buy into OLED (for a lot of reasons) and I don't think there's double the performance for double the price looking at QLEDs. I get a good response time for gaming, bright colors. No complaints.

But decent for the price if you need an IPS TV (bright room, need good viewing angles)

What is the source for your comment? In the market for a new tv and don't want to end up with trash
