Target is having a big electronic sale including discounts on many Google products. Most have been posted on here before, the cameras and the Wi-Fi's, but it also seems to now extend to the Google Home, the original full-sized speaker. Just wanted to share since I always look out for these versions, they have better audio than the minis even though this is an old model.
Google Home Speaker with Google Assistant
MSRP: $100
Sale Price: $50
w/ RedCard: $47.50
Hope this helps someone! Have a great day!
UPDATES:
JustinS6323 also noted it is the same price at Walmart too.
SensibleHarrier6147 also noted it is the same price at the Google Store too.
No Redcard discount, but potential alternatives. Thank you!

The next best option is to put a Chromecast Audio on a dumb speaker with an aux port.
Fingers crossed for a refresh during I/O!

No - definitely the biggest catch here. FWIW I still think they sound solid and are really the only mid-range option.

Strange, have mine since early 2017, never had a problem with it's Bluetooth dropping.
I daily use my laptops Bluetooth with it.
