I have several of this, including on my front door, for 3-4 years. Works great. I use it with SmartThings since day 1, and also Alexa. Battery lasts for over a year (high usage front door). No issues whatsever. Has no key to lose, or pick. Has backup in case you didn't change your battery in time. I tested it to make sure, but I've not had to use method.
I highly recommend.

Anyone own this model? I recently installed the digital YRD256+z-wave and love it. Thinking this push button for $88 would be sufficient for my garage door and back door. Thoughts?

Thanks for feedback. How's the bluetooth function using their key app? Likely faster just punching in the pins but in this day of COVID, less touching the better.

Bought it and love it but can't figure out how to pair it w Alexa. Any tips?
Like the other poster said, you need a Z wave capable
Hub. I think the second generation Echo has that function built in.
The functionality is mildly useful - I can lock the door but can not unlock it with voice commands. I can unlock it from my Smart things app.
Also, Alexa start recognizing patterns. For instance, she saw that my door was unlocked when it is typically locked at a certain time in the morning
And alerted me.

I don't think this comes with Bluetooth pairing option. I got the same model when it was on $99 deal last time. Works great and no issues so far. Installed it on the front door and have been using it for 2 months now. Since it does not have a keyhole, always have a backup door in case you get locked out for some weird reason. The 9v battery jump would work but better to be safe than sorry.

Question for you or anyone else - how loud is the motor that locks the deadbolt? I have the Kwikset SmartCode 888, and it's obnoxiously loud. Works well enough, but I'm sort of looking for something else a little quieter.
I have two Yale Deadbolt locks, one touchscreen and one button. We use the button one for our backdoor which we use the most. Real buttons are faster. Integrates with Ring and Alexa -- we have our doors auto lock after we arm our system and daily in the evening. The lock also auto-disables our Ring system when we enter in.
Integration is fantastic. We are really happy. It can be loud but no louder than what we had with August.
