PowerBlock Sport 24 Available (ships in 4-6 weeks) - $159 + shipping

PowerBlock just made the PowerBlock Sport 24 available for order on their website. They are anticipating shipping within 4-6 weeks (Update: My order shipped out on 5/2 and will arrive on 5/5, so in-stock orders appear to be being processed much earlier than quoted). There are shipping charges added on of approximately $18, but at least this get you your place in line if you are in need of a lighter adjustable dumbbell pair.

The Powerblock Sport 50 is also available to order, although this has been possible for a while through the now-optional bundling offer they have been pushing.

Note that their cancellation policy isn't the kindest: "Your order begins processing as soon as you click the "Pay Securely Now" button. After clicking that button, it may be possible to cancel your order by calling us directly at (800) 997-3999. Once inventory has been allocated to your order, it cannot be canceled."

Just something to keep in mind if you may end up wanting to cancel.

24 pounds isn't all that much, wish they had the 50 pound sets available for order.

Thank you. Almost put in an order until I read your comment. I think I'll wait.

This isn't a good deal. You can get the elite 50 lbs which is also expandable for $300 when in stock. 24 lbs is nothing. Just go to Wal-Mart and buy 25 and 10 lb dumbbells less than $100.

The PowerBlock Sport 50 is available to order. I didn't post that one though since it has been available for a while through the bundle that they have going (though they somewhat recently made the other accessories in that bundle optional). However, the shipping is quite a lot higher on that item.

I'll also note that the weight range covered by the PowerBlock Sport 24 is great for most women. My wife only uses this range on the dumbbells, in addition to kettlebells and barbell work.

The point of this post is that it is available for order, and directly from the manufacturer at that. Good luck buying any weights at a retailer. Basically everything is sold out and will be for some time.

Again, the point of this post is availability, not price. Also, this is the newer, better looking PowerBlock Sport 24 design that was never available on Amazon. They only have ever had the older, white model.

When compared to scalpers and a used market that is selling for more than retail value, then in-stock items from legitimate retailer are a deal.
