Just went to local Authorized Reseller.
Said that don't port in Google Voice numbers
Refused to honor the deal
Said they don't sell Metro By Tmobile phones (despite EVERY poster showing the Metro by TMobile logos).
Has anyone had luck with porting in Google Voice number and getting deal from Authorized reseller?

Correct in one thing only: you couldn't be more wrong. Read the old threads of members getting the visible E6 deals and you'll find they were unlocked from the gitgo.

For those who assume they can use another carrier sim on this phone.... YOU CAN NOT. Not even the parent company T-Mobile sim cards will work. The IEMI is locked onto your account on Metro ONLY. Until you paid 6 months worth of service, then they will unlock it for you.

Irrelevant on a crap Android phone. You want the iPhone SE on Visible, you're keeping it for 2 months to get that current deal. Keep blowing smoke.

Visible phones are unlocked out of box. You can use it with any carrier from day one and can use Visible sim in any phone . As long as you pay for 2nd month of service , you will get master promo card.

I don't think his plan will work. They will verify your ported numbers. And the other post says they have updated their unlock policy, 6 months of use.

Cut the crop. You are misinformed . You need two months of service to receive $200 MIR. All visible phones are factory unlocked .

Hehe, this is one of the smoothest transactions on Metro I have ever heard. Good job. Cuz a lot will be different than this.
