App Creator, ziggycrane, says in the subreddit that data sync will be added within a month or so. Once that's added, you can associate the prime with an account so if you somehow lose the app or get a new phone, you won't have to worry about losing the benefit.

This seems to just be temporary. After reinstalling the app, I lost premium. Restore purchases of course didn't restore premium. For now you could continue to tap the version number though.

it doesn't stick to your account. so if yo uninstall the app, you lose prime plus as well.
