Amazon [amazon.com] listing for reviews. I don't own this yet. Just bought it today and thought I would share.

that's looks nice and clever design. I have an older AOC 15.6 USB when I need another screen on the go, not that great, but functional, this looks nice, can't justify since I have the AOC and I am on my desktop when I need multi-screens

Did not know ZDNet had started selling things.
now has "ZDNet ACADEMY + DEALS"
Is this just a marketplace for 3rd party sellers? Or are they actually the "seller?

Does anyone know if this requires type-c port to support DisplayPort mode? I see that package includes USB-A cable, but...

Not sure I need this, but was playing with the coupon codes. In the cart there is the ability to add $100 store credit for $80. There are also free subscriptions that run through the cart, so you could possibly get the credit that way, then buy the monitor in a second transaction for 160 + tax. It would not let me stack (or even enter) the 10% off coupon for email sub. Cannot confirm any of this as Im not buying it. Yet...

It seems in this case ZDNet is drop-shipping which would make ZDNet the actual seller, with the manufacturer directly shipping the item. I received this message with my order confirm:

"Our friends at Mobile Pixels are fulfilling orders as we speak so sit back and relax, your Mobile Pixels DUEX Pro Portable Dual Monitor is on its way!

Thank you for your purchase and enjoy!"

I thought the same thing and almost bought the $100 store credit w/ my purchase, but thankfully decided I only needed one of these as you can move it between laptops. When I went back to retest the coupon it says you can only use the coupon once,. I attached a screenshot.

this is pretty cool

but if you are a developer/designer and you're primary working setup is a laptop...well imo you're not being efficient.

dev should be working with dual 24" 1920x1200 screens (or a single combined 3840x1200 or greater)

This is just a rebranded stacksocial deal. A couple of sites partner with them to offer items.

I wonder if this is what happened that stolen Razr laptop during CES.... Either way this looks great for those of us who worked remotely and need to finish up some stuff while traveling.
