I have the chase freedom and the chase freedom unlimited. It only shows on the chase freedom unlimited for me. I think I will be billed twice before 7/10 but if not I will go the accessories route. Cheers

Which chase did you find better, freedom or unlimited? Also, did you get the bonus for each card?

And for ATT, can't you make a partial payment for your bill twice? Since you have until July, you might try that and see if it works, if not, just buy an accessory.

I don't know what the h*ll AT&T is doing, but they just cancelled my order because "couldn't verify that the order really came from you". They offered to re-order at the store, but this offer is for online only. Costs me $20 for the phone numbers on Ebay and a hard credit pull. WTF. Mad
Was thinking if we open one line in store then do the rest online?

I hope it was not canceled because of the boost mobile lines.
Not because of that. All phone numbers (from Boost) were run through the AT&T number checker and accepted.

I just chatted with a rep. Here's part of the transcript.
Erika: Hi! My name is Erika. Please give me a moment to review your request.
Me: I placed an order yesterday , order 23-xxxxxxxxxxxx. Why was it cancelled?
Erika: Could you please provide me your zipcode
Me: xxxxx
Erika: Thanks!
Erika: Just to confirm, was this order for new service?
Me: yes, 4 new lines, BYOD phones.
Erika: Perfect.
Erika: Thanks for the info!
Erika: Did your billing and shipping address match?
Me: yes
Erika: got it! and also the address attached to your credit card?
Me: yes, same address.
Erika: perfect
Erika: Please give me a few minutes while I look into this.
Erika: Thank you for waiting.
Erika: I appreciate your patience.
Erika: I was reviewing and the system is showing '' We couldn't confirm your identity with the information you gave us, so we had to cancel your order'' In some cases the system doesn't accept the orders because of personal information that wasn't possible to verify, the right process to follow will be to place the order and with the order number you give a call to our orders eCom team at 866-267-4510 to double verify the info and make sure it won't be cancelled again
Me: So, should I place another order?
Erika: Yes, that is correct, the simcards will be free so the due today is $0, you can also call our team first to check about the problem and then place a new order.
=================
I'm kind of p*ssed right now. I'll have to think whether or not I want another credit pull, whether bf will process another c.b., etc. I might just say the h*ll with it and take the $20 hit for the phone numbers that I bought.

I tried to call AT&T eCom team at 866-267-4510 to see if they could shed some light on the problem with my order before placing another order. I was on hold for almost an hour but couldn't get anyone on the line. I'm done with this deal. Good luck to everyone else.

kalf8483Has at&t ever done byod promos before? Looking to see if there are any data points for similar offers applying per line rather than per account.
I have yet to be cancelled and I purchased boost mobile numbers as well. I already had internet service with ATT. I am already an established customer and they were previously able to verify my info. My sim cards will arrive soon and I will try to activate them.

I had an issue with this when I first started service with AT&T. Even when a rep helped me re-place an order on the phone, it still got cancelled. I had to visit a store and provide an ID and verify additional information (i.e. previous residences, etc.). They couldn't help me over the phone.

Wondering if we can add phone lines to AT&T internet account.

I don't know what the problem is with AT&T. I opened a credit-check Sprint account in March without problems, and in mid-April my wife opened a credit-check T-mo account without problems. The AT&T order that I placed yesterday was in her name, with the same street address, email address, same credit card, etc. that were used for the T-mo account.

Doh! Didn't even think about this. I've had uVerse service for a number of years now, and have never missed a payment. I wonder if they will still do a credit pull if I sign up for post-paid service.

That's a good idea. Maybe on Monday I'll take my wife to the local AT&T store, have the agent verify her ID and open an account in her name, then we'll go home and place the order online. Since this deal is available to existing customers, that should work.
