Currently, I only have one working smartphone and an old flip phone. I'm interested in porting over three numbers, but I'm worried that activating these lines with a unique IMEI will become a problem. Do you think I will get disqualified from this promotion because of my devices? It seems like most people are having a hard enough time with order processing. I'd hate to add to everyone's misery if my situation isn't viable.

Spoke to another rep, got the same go into store fiasco. Wants me to activate at least one line in store and then call back to do the rest.

Supposedly they're aware of the issues.

I think it's a bad route to take because:
1. Not many (if any) had success adding more lines at home to take advantage of this offer.
2. This offer ends today 5/14. I think your new account created in a store has to be 2-3 days old before you can add more lines. By then, this offer has expired.

Yes, it will be dum idea to open account from store and add more lines online, as you can't add new lines for at least 2 days (I opened activated my account on 12th, however still I am not able to add new lines, it get stuck at validate "Temporary Code". Code is getting sent to device, however when I enter the code, it says Code is invalid. I had a chat with advisor and he asked to wait 24-72 hours.

Got all 5 sim cards today, activated, now I need to call to merge the accounts since they're split by 2 on one account and 3 on another

On a positive note, service is lightning fast compared to metropcs

I had the rep make notations to honor the promo even if activated after 5/14. Whether this will actually happen however, is anyone's guess.

The promo is based on when the order is placed, not when the lines/SIMs are activated. If your additional lines are ordered after 5/14, good luck trying to get the GCs for them.

Well, nothing like planning ahead.

Ordered Boost numbers from Fleabay at 5:15PM. Left to run an errand (buy iPhone at Costco).

Received numbers at 5:25 PM.

Started entering order info about 9:40PM.

Emails with order info received at 10:08 PM.

How long before I receive the "your order has been canceled" message? ;--)

went to store. explained the situation and said what ECOM told me. Of course manager laughs it off. "It's online only"

manager just put a note on my account. Considering that note section is WAAAY down on my account page, I doubt ATT fraud dept will see it.

Still. I'm placing a new order for final attempt.

Finally, I was able to add one more line (approx after 54-55 hours of account creation).

Again used TCB, and it seems its $50/line not $75. PFA screenshot

I see this in terms and condition now "Limit two Reward Cards per account." does it mean only 2 lines will qualify ?

AT&T extended the deal and placed a new limit on the promotion. Those who ordered before 12 AM EST will get a card for all eligible lines. I think this was a smart move because it will cut down on the people who are gaming the system.

This could get interesting... AT&T has changed the terms of the offer. That limitation was not in the offer terms yesterday. A s**t storm is brewing.

Question: how did you determine that "those who activated before 12 AM EST will get a card for all eligible lines." I would not have a problem if new terms were placed on orders placed after 12 AM. People who placed orders under the first offer should have the benefits of that offer, as long as the lines were activated in a timely manner.

BTW, what you call gaming the system, others would call playing by the rules. Sort of like a CEO getting his salary in stock to lower his tax rate.
