You are welcome.
SISFO is the term in that article .. so if inclined to get this deal try this option.. The e-commerce folks tell you to visit store.. store folks are not aware of this hence we face hassles

Here it is: cancellation email says :
We couldn't verify this order 23-79949001xxxxxxx really came from you

For your security, we canceled it. Don't worry. If there was a hold on your card, we'll release the funds. Let us help you reorder your item(s). Visit an AT&T store. Be sure to bring your identification.

Even if you call back office, they cannot help to say upload a scan of drivers license etc.. the order gets cancelled. You call again they direct you to try curb pick up. But the online order has no curb pick up. Then they say go to store .. they put you through hoops that if you get it right would work..
My order was cancelled with the same language. Wasted a hardpull, as my credit is already impacted due to unjustified medical collection. Looks like nobody here have been successful in doing this in store with $250 promo? Trying again also won't work ? So it's a dead end. very annoying.

Costco has an AT&T offer today (good till 30 Jul): add a line, get a $125 Costco Cash card "via online redemption."

How long do you have to keep them active?

Is it in store or online? Possible to stack with $250?

Too much burden being placed on each customer with no valid explanation as to why they need to protect us all from this non-existent "fraud."

Costco usually sends the rebate cards around 90 days.

As per terms, costso says its should be active for 30 days, but not sure if anyone closed the line before 90 days and still got rebate.

Anyone have any luck applying the FAN discount to the Mobile Share Value ? I have the Single line Mobile Share Value with a FAN discount. I've used their online tool to try to add another line and the price calculator suggests that the FAN discount will NOT be carried over.
I have applied FAN discount .. it is applied to the account and stackable

I've already maxed out this offer.

Was looking at adding more lines to take advantage of the Costco offer, whereby the cost/line would not be bad. But if I have to keep them active for 90 days, that makes it less attractive.

Apparently your source of info is wrong, or I'm "special" Big Grin. Today I received an AT&T Debit Card for the $38.01 credit balance in my acct #1, closed on 6/27, billing period ended 7/7.

BTW, this card is different from the AT&T VISA Gift Card. You can activate/register this card at the web site on the back of the card, and transfer the money to your bank account without a fee.
I also got prorated credit on my canceled lines. AT&T wireless cell phone service has not stopped being prorated. "AT&T Phone" refers to their landline services. That is not prorated along with AT&T U-Verse and their other internet services.

Just add the visa to your apple wallet, and then select add funds to your apple cash and select the ATT Visa. You can just withdraw the funds to your bank account.
Thanks man. I wish the Sprint debit cards were as easy to liquidate.

Spent 2 f**** hours on the phone after receiving my 2 SIMs because I was flagged due to multiple orders denied. On the online activation page, my IMEI and ICCID did not match and needed to call an 866 number to get lines ported and activated. I told them, I kept ordering because I kept getting denied??? Rep was helpful and made sure my lines were set-up in 1 account on the same share plan but freakn fraud dept had to verify my identity twice to make sure it was really me smh. They had to removed all canceled order to proceed activating my approved order.

This does not bode well for my wife and I - they have cancelled eight orders so far and numbers nine and ten are pending. Thanks for providing more data to support that their way of handling online orders is grossly incompetent and they should be barred from doing online sales until they fix this.

What site did you use to activate the SIMs? This afternoon I activated the two SIMs for my acct #3. As usual, I went to this site: https://www.att.com/checkmyorder/...aQodPFgOEg

After entering one of the phone numbers being ported in, and my zip code, it found the order and displayed the phone numbers in the order. I selected to activate them all (the default) and off it went. Never had to supply the IMEIs during the ordering or activation process.
