Today I received the attached letter from AT&T regarding my daughter's order placed on 7/19/20. Her FICO score is 780 which is Very Good, but her credit history is short because I helped establish it just this past March. She has only one card and had made a few purchases. AT&T uses their own credit scoring system and her score is about Fair (585 out of 999). Usually the "downbeat" language used in the letter is for a Rejection Letter, but I'm surprised that they approved her account.
The cancellation email is due to them not able to establish your identity (they suspect fraud) hence if they did a credit pull I am not leaving them .. THATS the reason for me to go to store and get the same account verified ..

Hi,
Both my son and mine orders were cancelled. Would you please let me know what is " SISFO" How to do it? I have spent so much time reading the threads and wasted a hard pull, if there is anything I could do to let the order approved? Thanks

SISFO is start in store and fulfill the offer / order online.. basically get the account verified in store and create it .. using the account number of the cancelled order. Then using that account place online order.. that order may get canceled too .. no guarantee.. but then you can ask them why..

Note each order generates a new account number, so using the cancelled order gets you the order history of cancelled order and the later orders that you will place. Will establish your eligibility for $250 imo

Since it was a hard pull I too did not want to leave them .. plus these were lines I use

Again it's a YMMV

I took screenshots of each step, the IMEIs were never displayed. It wouldn't know the IMEIs of the phones I would be using anyway. Did you supply the IMEIs at any step during the ordering process?

Edited: Never mind, I know why now from past posts. If there were problems during the port-in process, they purposely shipped the SIMs paired with "dummy" IMEIs to force you to call in.
hey quick question... how long after activation can I see if they put my two lines on separate plans?

Same here. That was my first slick deal purchase and same time I joined SD. For me both are special.

Once you activated the line, create the online account, you will be able to see immediately or within a couple of hours. If you see them on a separate plan, initiate the chat session, the rep should fix it immediately.

Thanks for the trip down memory lane. Getting TouchPads was FAR easier than getting these big phone companies to behave themselves.

Even forcing a "SISFO" - which is a new and pseudo-intelligent "fix" to this fiasco - it really does not make the process work as advertised.

The IRS trusts cell phone account information as proof of identity when starting an account on their website so perhaps that is why there is an abundance of caution.

I've reported these problems as "bait and switch" which should get some attention from higher ups. I don't care to use that method for a personal account fix - I'm actually ticked off that so many savvy online shoppers are being insulted by having legit offers called out as "fraud," so we can be told to go to the store and forfeit what should be an easy, online, self-service offer.

Immediately. After activation, you should receive an email with a link to create your online account access. Log in, scroll down to Plan Details. You should see $100 (before autopay discount) for 2 lines. If you see two boxes, each with 1 line, then they split it. They still did that with my recent account, activated on Thursday.

Agree Dan, it is a bait and switch kind of offer. They want to do a credit check and then pull a fast one on you. Make you go the hoops.

About SISFO it is the term in their promo offer (article as they call it) 802205 (that's the offer code or article number)

thanks guys, looks like I'm on the right plan. But I'm not getting the $20 autopay discount yet. Should I wait or chat about it?

Code:
AutoPay & paperless billing discount – starts soon

This discount is available if you sign up for AutoPay and paperless billing, and have a qualifying shared data plan.
It may take two bill periods before you see the discount on your bill.
edit: I need to find randoms to rep, I cant rep tryCatchDealExcption, hpham_53, or tuxedo1.
