Same like last time. I think amazon goes for $20ish, unlike 3rd party. Don't know how was it from last time for the people who bought them.
Sanyo perfected the modern day rechargeable with the Eneloops.. If you want the standard all measure against, that's it. They also are the brand you'll find most from power tools to electric cars - still made in their own factory in Japan.

$1.50 or less a cell aa or aaa. Ikea ladda are eneloop pro and go for 6.99 everyday. The pro vs std is 20% higher capacity vs 1/4 life. The std are good for 2000 charges the pro 500 the std are 19-2100 mah the pro are 2450-2550 depending on badging. Cells made in Japan are rebadge eneloops as there is only one lsd factory (twicell) which manufactures eneloop and the rebadges. Some Amazon used to be eneloops but lately they have switched over to China and are not considered as good. Most of the reviews are for the old cells not the new. Costco and Amazon have kits that come with cells, both aa and aaa and a charger. Newegg and others have 8,12,&16 packs of the cells that from time to time get down to 1.50 cell range.
