Time to throw away your phone then
Fp????

Also do TCL TVs still suffer from the horrid 500ms audio output delay? I love the value on my S423 but it's a ridiculous flaw -- optical or HDMI based output suffer from a 500ms or greater delay getting to the speakers/soundbar/receiver/whatever. Lotta folks complaining, 100% of cases involve TCL dodging and driving people nuts with "let's troubleshoot from the top" and treating them like morons -- threads never get to "no, this thing is flawed. Let's be real."

I hesitate to buy another TCL until it's confirmed this doesnt happen anymore.

65" beats last FP on this by a lot, like $250 less... 75" version still not even close to worth it, even at this price.

Nice find.

This is so tempting for the 65"... any word on if the 2020 6 series will have a 120hz native panel? 2019 has 60hz native but this 8 series has 120hz native. I also wonder if they will have better mini-LED performance in the 2020 6 series compared to this one.

I feel like the 2020 65" 6 series will retail at $1k.

This has 120hz panel, but can't display 120hz content properly. So take that with a grain of salt

I'll probably go for it if it's free shipping to home. Need to lock down in my bunker for another month or so. Like I said, if TCL announces new and improved 2020 for similar price before JUNE I can always return this easily to BB.

Never had audio delay here on 4 or 6 series. Occasionally a localized ATTnow broadcasting issue so I just reload switch channels and back. I also have ARC and love it on my vizio soundbar and TCL 6.

Any recommendations for 75" in this price range?

rtings gives it a decent rating [rtings.com]

I really really really want OLED at 75" but I don't think I'll be able to Frown

I knew the 65" would hit at least this price point

Would not surprise me if it hits $800.....don't think this Tv is exactly flying off the shelves

I'm tempted since TCL may have trouble with meeting product cycle with supply chain distruptions. Having this in stock as soon as 9PM Pacific is too tempting. Also TCL can always push out FW updates to address some issues. I was looking at AVSforum and this TV was mostly panned for the steep price. I think $1k is my high end so have to think about it but seems low risk with extended local returns.

I don't know whether to get this or keep waiting for 2020 6 series. I wish we knew more about the 2020 6 series release date. Can anyone help me decide? Thanks.

Been hoping the 75" would get to $1500. If it does, I may have to give in. 2020 set might be better, but probably not by a lot. I don't game so it'll be fine. I'm still going to pass at this price.
