For me I don't like Ring in my pocket every month. I have multiple camera's & the like, none ring. In general I like Eufy stuff. Check out "lifehackster" on You Tube for good reviews on all this stuff.
Happened to me, too. In the settings you can draw a box around an object to exclude it from monitoring that zone. If it doesn't exclude too much of your overall screening area, it really helps minimize false positives.
The face detection on mine is totally whack. Thinks the rose bush is a person so we get tons of false alerts -_+

I've been watching his videos on variously product comparisons. He noted some cons for the Eufy but overall likes it. He also likes the Ring Pro too. I have Ring alarm so monitoring costs are covered. Hence I'm on the fence.

Possibly getting Homekit integration by the end of June. I've been holding out for the Netatmo, but no word on that, so may get this instead.

That specifically says the battery version, and specifically excludes this one saying no word on the wired version.

I'm in the same boat, I don't know which system to choose. I want to avoid monthly subscriptions , I want something I can put in my NAS or integrate, there are many options out there, Arlo, Nest, Ring, Eufy, Maximus (this is nice because I like their outdoor lights with camera, but their free version only allows 2 hours of video review)

Thank you so much, OP

I've had ALERTS set in several places for this. I just saw it in my Inbox here at SD and jumped on it ( of course this means the new price for these will be under $100 in a couple of weeks -no coupon needed :-) ) I had missed out on a similar recent deal at Newegg by less than 24hrs.

By the by, the ALERTS system here at SD really fails in my experience. I get too, too many Notifcations frm SD on my phone for stuff I don't think are even in my ALERTS and the ones I KNOW I've set and reset very rarely get to my phone. And yes, I have looked at my ALERTS and settings for them and like I said, I've even reset them to try and get them to work but they just don't. This one isn't in my "personalized" "just for you" front page either and it should've been. Plenty of crap there I have no interest in though.

Thanks again for posting

I love mine. Bought at the same price last time. And same with rios7 it thinks my rose and the big flower pot are ppl moving lol. I don't mind but it's funny. Otherwise it's great. Connection is fast and two way talk is good also.
