I have the dohm sound machine in every bedroom in my house. I cheaped out and tried these knockoffs and all failed. All dohms are still going strong. For those asking it's amazing. Pure white noise generated by a compact fan. You can change the pitch and tone slightly by adjusting the vents. It's ambient noise. Not loud but not quiet either. These work the same as the dohm they just fail quickly.

I at one point looked into getting a white noise generator. I then found out smart speakers (amazon/Google) can do the white noise generation (or rain sounds/nature). As you can get a smart speaker for $29, that is probably a better value.

On the contrary to others, I own one of these for over 7 years now for my kid's room. I also later bought a dohm when 2nd kid was born. This one performs about the same as dohm, and slightly louder.

I converted kids 2yo and 4yo from the fan mom had conditioned them to to Echo Dot gen 3. I use that instead and also use as an intercom from the kitchen to get them to come downstairs when lunch is ready. 4yo is learning how to use them though so that's not great. Smilie

I've had about three of these. All lasted over 3 years. The new dohm economy machines are worse than these.

I've had this exact model by SleepEasy since Nov 2014 - 5.5 years. I run it every night and it hasn't failed. Either I've had great luck or you had bad luck.

I also only paid $16 on Amazon for it (in 2014).

It's different pitches of white noise. I have them in each of my kids rooms and bring it on vacations. Our oldest unit is probably 3 years now and is sometimes left running all day.

I like the ability to customize the tone. Good buy.
