Verizon is offering customers with existing non-committed 100/100 plan a free upgrade to 200/200 plan for the same monthly cost of $39.99 without additional commitments.
To receive this free upgrade, login to MyVerizon dashboard
here [verizon.com]. Then click "Order Now" under the black "mix & match on Fios" tile. Click your existing 100/100 speed, then click "More Speeds" and select 200/200 for a month cost of $39.99.
Complete the order and you'll now have double the speed for "free".
Please note that if your G1100 or G3100 router is connected to the ONT via COAX, your order will not be processed unless a technician visits your location to switch it over to Ethernet. COAX on the ONT only supports speeds up to 100/100 and anything faster will require the router to be connected directly into the Ethernet port on the ONT.

Regarding agreement, most likely Verizon will require you to sign up for another 2 years at a further discounted rate than $39.99 for 200/200.
I have similar situation, ONT in basement, house is wired with Coax. In the past, 2 years ago, Verizon connected ONT to FIOS modem on 3rd floor using Coax. Everything worked fine.
Last year I wanted to switch from (currently) OptimumCable to FIOS. The installer would not install it as before. He INSISTED that he had to connect ONT in basement to my FIOS Modem using Ethernet only. He wanted to drill holes in basement wall and in 3rd floor wall and run Ethernet outside the house. I said No Way! I asked him to hook it the same as before, using coax. I do not mind lower speed using coax vs Ethernet. He would not, went away and canceled the order. He would not fish the wire between floors.I understand that.
What are my options for getting FIOS without drilling holes through walls for Ethernet cable? I'd rather use coax for in-house distribution.
What is the "adapter at both ends'' that you mentioned with MOCA?
Thanks
I guess I'll switch to paper bill and see if they offer me $10 to go back to electronic bill pay..
Supposedly the 39.99 is the new base price without contracts or discounts. I've been "moving" every summer. Same day cancel/install with a few hours outage. New $50 GC and $70-$80 in cash back from another top site.
It does take a credit hit, but in the 820+ club doesn't matter.
My ONT box is located in the laundry room. There was a preinstalled coaxial cable running from the ONT box to my living room (back when this condo was built). It goes through the walls and out into my living room. I currently have the coaxial cable connected to the G1100 and and everything else connects to it through an ethernet cable (tv, roku player, ps4, etc.)
If i switch it to Ethernet to get the 100mb speeds, theres no way to run an ethernet line from my laundry room to my living room without taping the ethernet along the walls of my hallway and living room lol.
Sorry, not to networking literate. Would a moca adapter be the solution for this?
I'll see how it changes in 24/48 hours.

I can't for the life of me get Mix and Match to load!
Anyone have advice on how to take advantage of this deal?

Also, FWIW, the Actiontec routers actually state that they can handle up to about 200Mbps over MoCA despite verizon saying it can only handle 100Mbps. (maybe it's 100mbps bidirectional though, i dunno)
