Verizon is offering customers with existing non-committed 100/100 plan a free upgrade to 200/200 plan for the same monthly cost of $39.99 without additional commitments.

To receive this free upgrade, login to MyVerizon dashboard here [verizon.com]. Then click "Order Now" under the black "mix & match on Fios" tile. Click your existing 100/100 speed, then click "More Speeds" and select 200/200 for a month cost of $39.99.

Complete the order and you'll now have double the speed for "free".

Please note that if your G1100 or G3100 router is connected to the ONT via COAX, your order will not be processed unless a technician visits your location to switch it over to Ethernet. COAX on the ONT only supports speeds up to 100/100 and anything faster will require the router to be connected directly into the Ethernet port on the ONT.

I got up to just check the speed. Nope. But I'm running the ancient 50/50 and will need the router to even get 100. Made sense and iw as more worried abt the order as I didn't receive confirmation email.

While I was chatting I asked abt why it didn't show my discount for autopay. She said I needed to sign up, which was weird as I was previously. She eventually sent me an email that outlined the bill which included the $10 discount and just hit accept.

Again weird as I was getting it on my old account. If you don't see your discount, just chat and have them resend the agreement.

4x the speed and saving $25 a month. Winning

I'm waiting for the auto-debit to charge in about a week and will switch to paper. Give it a couple of days and switch back to autopay to get the discount. I've read that it works in the past.
All they need to do is chat with an agent and have them resend the autopay enrollment. Same thing happened to me

I think it with auto pay using a debit/Bank account. I just did that and I didn't see anything about a $10 discount
I switched my auto pay from cc to checking after ordering for 49.99. rep said I would receive an email w $10 discount. Haven't received yet. Have chat saved so will follow up later today to confirm.

I just upgraded my family members. Just because they have COAX connection (pre-2016) technician visit is needed. First available date (due to the Covid-19) is December 1, 2020 Smilie I'm glad that you can easily change from COAX to ethernet yourself in less than 5 minutes and just notify Verizon about it.

Good deal!
How? If you don't mind me asking.

my 100/100 contract has 6 Months left. Will this cause me a penalty? I never had no contact plan before, does it mean they can change price anytime?

I had 100/100 with 21 months remaining on a 24 month commitment (I had 100/100 for a year with no commitment, but had to sign a 2-year contact at the end of the year to keep the price the same). I'm also using verizon connections, so my bill is 34.99/month. I was able to upgrade from 100/100 to 200/200 with 21 months remaining on my contract and still keep the 34.99 cost. I got a message stating I would still be subject to the same early termination agreement if I canceled the 200/200 service before 21 months are up. But, I have no plans to cancel Smilie

If only I could get the free disney+ along with this, too!

Went to upgrade my internet speed (I only have internet) and saw they already complementary upgraded me to gigabit until 6/30. I'll check back after 6/30. I'm in the Philly area.

I did a chat with CS and since this is a non-contractual upgrade, they said they cannot guarantee the price, i.e it could change (go up) at any time. Since I currently pay $58 (with a $30 non expiring discount) for 100/100, the upgrade being offered is 200/200 for $50. I'm also in Howard County, MD and wondering if its worth the risk.

Anne Arundel County, here. I got 34.99 a month (5 dollars off via verizon connections) for the remaining 21 months of my existing 100/100 contract.

Exactly the same situation as you, however, didn't get the message stating early termination agreement stuff, where did you get it? email?

I said on the previous thread a couple months ago, your actual speeds can actually be closer to 300mbps up/down. A steal for $40.
I recently moved and no longer have fios and now paying more for less.

At the time, I had 75Mbps plan and consistently was getting over 100Mbps. Now I have 100Mbps plan and getting between 80-110Mbps and paying $60/month.

This is a great deal for quality service if you can get it.
