Verizon is offering customers with existing non-committed 100/100 plan a free upgrade to 200/200 plan for the same monthly cost of $39.99 without additional commitments.

To receive this free upgrade, login to MyVerizon dashboard here [verizon.com]. Then click "Order Now" under the black "mix & match on Fios" tile. Click your existing 100/100 speed, then click "More Speeds" and select 200/200 for a month cost of $39.99.

Complete the order and you'll now have double the speed for "free".

Please note that if your G1100 or G3100 router is connected to the ONT via COAX, your order will not be processed unless a technician visits your location to switch it over to Ethernet. COAX on the ONT only supports speeds up to 100/100 and anything faster will require the router to be connected directly into the Ethernet port on the ONT.

For those of us who signed up with the Disney+ offer (1 year, $39.99 plus Disney+) is the $39.99 price that was included with that offer good for the entire year?

Moreover, when we upgrade to 200/200 will this affect our ability to renew at that price again?

How long does it normally take for the speed to change? On the verizon site it said I should see changes in "5 minutes" but it's almost been an hour
Are you sure your equipment can handle the increased speed?

My Mix & Match page has been broken for about a month and a half now since I switched to the 100/100 plan. It just keeps showing me the loading screen with three dots, and hasn't went away. Anyone know how to fix it? Tried clearing cookies, rebooting router, etc.
Are you using any VPN service? I have noticed issues with Verizon pages loading on VPN.

Really blows that Verizon discontinued its Fios deployments in 2013 and abandoned all future planned rollout to urban and suburban areas with high population density.
I'm at the mercy of Comcast. I don't see Verizon 5g making it out to me by 2025, if ever.
Really need an alternative to step in.

Is this accurate? Fios came to our neighborhood less than two years ago.

Got ours upgraded yesterday.

Contacted Verizon for my mom's house(still on coax), and was told they can ship me a "installation kit" and have me setup everything myself, or they can send out a tech team to upgrade the ONT to allow for the router to be more than 6ft from the ONT? Agent explained that with our current ONT, the ethernet connection can't be greater than 6 ft from the ONT. This is news to me. Anyone else have similar experience?

Our neighborhood was a new development in 2015 and we got FIOS too.

What's the ONT model number your mom has? I am on Alcatel i-211M-l and my Ethernet cable (between the router and the ONT) is almost 30 feet. Everything works fine.

Showing as $49.99 for me but still cheaper than my current $64.99. I upgraded the speed and paying less now. Thanks.

I haven't checked. Her ONT was installed at least 6 or 7 years ago. What year was yours installed?

The rep I spoke with said that upgrading to the new plan would break my contract and subject me to the cancellation fee of $116. I'm not sure that's right, but I guess I won't be getting faster speeds.

Still not sure if Verizon is allowing techs to do the in-house visits to perform installations/upgrades. You may be able to schedule a visit but it may be weeks before someone shows up. Doing it yourself ensures more timely upgrade. All that's holding you up is the availability of the CAT5 cable (had to wait about a week for mine to show up from Monoprice).
That's true, you may not want a tech to come in your home right now, even if Verizon is offering. But, it could save you the cost of the cable, and, in my case, the time spent to cut through all the drywall. You'll want to go with CAT5E or CAT6 cable if you plan to push more than 100/100.

I'm also only getting $49.99 offered - I'm based in NYC. Currently paying $76.99 for 100/100. But I guess $49.99 for double speed w/ no commitment is still a no brainer Smilie

I have an actiontec mi424wr that I was previously using in bridge mode, but that stopped working (had to reset b/c wasn't getting internet). Ideally I'd like to use my own router directly into the ONT. I guess if I choose "use my own router" I would need to return the Actiontec.
You need to switch to electronic bill & debit or checking auto pay, then you will get $10 more discount. I have chat with Verizon about that matter.

Just upgraded. Speed test shows 310/340 now.

Thanks a lot!
