Verizon is offering customers with existing non-committed 100/100 plan a free upgrade to 200/200 plan for the same monthly cost of $39.99 without additional commitments.

To receive this free upgrade, login to MyVerizon dashboard here [verizon.com]. Then click "Order Now" under the black "mix & match on Fios" tile. Click your existing 100/100 speed, then click "More Speeds" and select 200/200 for a month cost of $39.99.

Complete the order and you'll now have double the speed for "free".

Please note that if your G1100 or G3100 router is connected to the ONT via COAX, your order will not be processed unless a technician visits your location to switch it over to Ethernet. COAX on the ONT only supports speeds up to 100/100 and anything faster will require the router to be connected directly into the Ethernet port on the ONT.

Is the discount automatic once you change your email address to the appropriate domain?
I didn't have to change email. I just changed autopay from credit card to checking account debit

Is anyone able to hit 200/200 consistently?

I'm running mine on wired gigabit with nothing major pulling data. Hitting 160-175/160-175 up on all my speedtests. Same on 5ghz AC wifi.

Router is an AC68u connected directly to ONT via ethernet. Location is NYC.

I'm paying $35 a month now for 100/100 (which rolls off in 10 months). Is it worth the extra $5 a month for the 200/200?

How long does this promo last for?

Same situation here. .I kind of think 100/100 is plenty and its not worth the extra $5.

I haven't really noticed a difference. Maybe if I was downloading a large file.

I'm almost always way above the 200; more like 230 - 240.

I switched last night and my speed is still 100/100. My fios was installed back in 2010, old modem with a good netgear nighthawk. We use the ethernet cable and use wireless internet mostly.

I just put in my order. My old price was $40/mo for 100/100. New price is $35/mo for 200/200. The -$5 discount reads "Connections Discount - Data". I'm not sure what that is but others may get it too, making this deal even better for those on the fence.

Bad news is that my router is connected to my ONT through a coaxial wire and the first appointment for a technician to come over in the greater D.C. area is... December 1st.

This offer does not have discounts that expire unlike the 100/100 deal

Idk about that, I chatted with them and they said they'll give me a year of free Disney Plus. I haven't received the redemption email yet but they said it should come in the next week. Might be worth asking.
