Verizon is offering customers with existing non-committed 100/100 plan a free upgrade to 200/200 plan for the same monthly cost of $39.99 without additional commitments.

To receive this free upgrade, login to MyVerizon dashboard here [verizon.com]. Then click "Order Now" under the black "mix & match on Fios" tile. Click your existing 100/100 speed, then click "More Speeds" and select 200/200 for a month cost of $39.99.

Complete the order and you'll now have double the speed for "free".

Please note that if your G1100 or G3100 router is connected to the ONT via COAX, your order will not be processed unless a technician visits your location to switch it over to Ethernet. COAX on the ONT only supports speeds up to 100/100 and anything faster will require the router to be connected directly into the Ethernet port on the ONT.

had to call in to downgrade triple play services for my uncle.
I called up to downgrade and remove the rental fee since I bought a used router on Ebay.

$40 with auto pay.
Now to return their router and tv boxes.

It seems like this deal will never expire. I don't see expiration date in my billing info they sent me. In the activities summary, they removed my previous deal that would expire in January. It had original price of $105. However, this activity summary has original price of $49.99and $10.00 discount. So hopefully, I will get 200/39.99 for ever lol

Hmmm its been four hours and my speed staying at 100ish. My account does show 200 for speed though. Wonder what'sup.
Which router are you using? If you are on 2.4ghz WiFi, you won't go faster than 100Mbps regardless of FIOS speed.

Sure, see attached. I didn't need any changes. They also told me I couldn't use my old MI424WR-GEN3I router, but it's running fine.
Same exact boat even with the older router. I went ahead and got a gateway off Craigslist as I thought it was required for the new speed. Doh!

Just to note, I'm hardwired to the router for most of my heavy internet use. The wifi speed is capped at around 35/35 or so, which is fine for my use.

The picture was of my ONT that Verizon installed at my house. Not sure if there's any version number on those. The router is separate.

I am getting this offer for $49.99 not $39.99. Is it because you are not renting a router from them?
