Verizon is offering customers with existing non-committed 100/100 plan a free upgrade to 200/200 plan for the same monthly cost of $39.99 without additional commitments.

To receive this free upgrade, login to MyVerizon dashboard here [verizon.com]. Then click "Order Now" under the black "mix & match on Fios" tile. Click your existing 100/100 speed, then click "More Speeds" and select 200/200 for a month cost of $39.99.

Complete the order and you'll now have double the speed for "free".

Please note that if your G1100 or G3100 router is connected to the ONT via COAX, your order will not be processed unless a technician visits your location to switch it over to Ethernet. COAX on the ONT only supports speeds up to 100/100 and anything faster will require the router to be connected directly into the Ethernet port on the ONT.

Interesting deal. I just started the final month of my no-commit $39.99 12-month pricing for 100/100. Is this deal to upgrade to 200/200 for the remainder of the 12-month pricing deal, or does it essentially "reset" the 12-month clock?

I'm trying to decide if, at the end of this billing cycle, I should cancel and sign up as a new customer again, or if signing on to this upgrade will leave me good for another year on pricing (and if so, whether I should wait till the end of this cycle).

What I'm worried about is signing up for this upgrade, only getting the 200/200 for 39.99 for the remainder of THIS billing cycle, and then getting hit with the higher bill next month.

Any advice is appreciated!

i upgraded in May. Just got a message from Verizon that "Per your request, we removed the Disney+ subscription from your account. Thanks for choosing Verizon."

Oh well. waiting to chat with Verizon and see if they can restore it or not.

I just got this email too. I signed up back in April. The chat guy had no idea, and said he'd put in a ticket to look into it, but would take a week.

Hi everyone, was hoping for some help. They charge a $15 a month router fee. What router would you all recommend I buy to circumvent paying this? Have a relatively large area it needs to cover. The stock one provided by my current provider works well but I don't see a name on it. Thanks so much.
if you're tmobile customer for cellphone, call them for Cellspot router to use for WIFI calling for 25 USD deposit. it's top of the line ASUS wireless router and use it as long as you stay with Tmobile. When you kick/leave tmobile for better deal, return the router, get your 25 USD refund.

I am coming to end of my no contract 100/100 for 39.99, so decided to cancel and reorder on my wife's name. I have my own G1100 router and I believe I can do a self install, as we have been doing this last two years(every year disconnect and re-order). But I got an install date 5 days after the disconnection date. Is there a way to change it to self install or call them to activate the service earlier? Any inputs greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot

I did not have to pay any installation charges, it says "order online and we will waive the $99 standard set up charge."

Followed the steps, but my speeds went down after the move from 100/100 to 200/200 was completed. (Top 2 are after the "upgrade" lol)

But I don't care because it's going to take 15 bucks of my bill. Anyone know if Verizon offers a wifi 6 device to replace my rental quantum gateway with?

The page doesn't even load for me on my mac using a chrome browser. I have tried with Safari as well, just seeing those 3 dots.

Once I cancel with Verizon, does the Disney+ subscription continue at all?

Here is what it says on the Disney+ enrollment page
"If you change your Verizon plan, you may no longer be eligible for the Disney+ promotion. You may cancel your Disney+ subscription through Verizon at any time."

Just switched my existing 100/100 plan which recently jumped from $39.99 to $55 when the one year contract expired. Took one minute to switch using the My Fios app this morning, using "shop plans" drop down.

So much easier for existing customers. I was used to cancelling and resubscribing every year or two, but that hassle is gone.

The confirmation of switch was reflected in account page this afternoon.

When you switched over as an existing customer, do you lose out on the free 1 year Disney Plus offer? I'm debating whether to just cancel the service under my name and reopen using my brother's name to redeem the new customer offer for the 200/200 deal.
