Been watching this and the regular price of $299. Now shows $149 at a few local locations in my area. Ordered online with a successful curbside pickup. Good reviews for small projects.

QA Note: Home Depot pricing is regional so YMMV.

3-4 hours straight of mixing concrete to save a few dollars at most (when factoring in the cost of this mixer).
It's not usually the cost but ability to do it alone.

Thanks. The flip zip code worked....I hope it does not get canceled. Since the zip was just ~200 miles away. REally was debating pulling the trigger a few weeks ago when it was on "sale" for $349. Even with $55 Shipping, this is a deal!

The Question is will you get 4 days of use out of it. I take the fifth day out of it to compensate for the pain-in-da-azz part of going back and forth to the rental place and me having to take my camper shell off most likely.

Also, are you more likely to get projects done with this lying on the side of the house? I
It's just the metric I used to decide not to buy it. I have very little cement to lay. Others may have a week or more's use for it. In doing the math, I've found that prices will be very similar to just hire someone to do it for me.

I've looked and looked at the pictures very closely and I just can't figure out where do I clip in ALL of my many batteries one+ to power this thing?
You put them inside the mixer before adding the concrete

I've been trying to find people to come pour a walkway/pad for garbage cans, but no one will come out because it doesn't meet their minimums. I'd done concrete before, so debating on this (if the zip code and $55 shipping works) or just renting one.

Have you tried since covid? With the downturn, they might be more willing to come out to you.

The underwater vacuum is a definite no for me. Can't justify the right angle drill right now
The underwater vacuum is also a definite no for me but it was a big reason I decided to go with Ryobi as my 18v set! If Ryobi thought to make an 18 volt underwater vacuum, they'll probably have lots of other interesting tools in their lineup.

I have the same problem and live in Northern Virginia. Most places have between a 4K and 5k minimum. Hell, my neighbor spent 20k to have his deck and rails redone with Trex, which is a rip-off but the going rate here.

I tried again today and still got a no from yet another company. So will probably just end up mixing it myself since I need less than a yard.

This is exactly what I am eye balling this for. My shed is 12 X 16 (Not built yet). Is this something which would work for a slab that size?
Oh God no, nooo no. The amount of bags needed would destroy your back, and you'd have a rough time keeping it pouring continuously.

Get a concrete truck delivery for that much concrete.

For smaller projects, if you have a truck you can rent a towable mixer loaded with concrete mix. Then drive it home, mix, and pour.

The Ryobi and other mixers are for small or hard to reach slabs, sidewalks, mixing large batches of mortar for block and brick, etc.
