It will work for most ppl and newbies for sure. Yes flip it- currently goes close to $400 in offerup

I'm pretty sure this same squat rack in black color has sold for $59 multiple times in the past. If so, the vertical supports aren't even one continuous piece, they bolt together halfway up.

Edit: okay I just zoomed in on the picture and confirmed these bolt together in the middle of the vertical supports. You lose 2 placements for your bar supports this way, and also lose stability. Being tested to static hold 750 pounds isn't the same as being able to handle a kinetic drop of a bar loaded with plates. It's a bad design, period.

I bought one of these as a backyard rack. I've had up to 315lbs on it and it held up. For anything heavy, I use my power rack as I definitely wouldn't trust this squat stand with much more than 300lbs.

For casual lifters this squat stand will do.
