This is a pretty basic tv in terms of screen technology. There are better picture quality 65" sets for similar price. Vizio M/P or TCL 6 series are a few to look at. Sony has some fantastic sets but this is definitely not one of them

It's the 2020 model and it has not been professionally reviewed.
Sony's 700s series TV are not worth the extra cost. Their 800s are better but still mid-tier

If you don't need wide angles for viewing I'd stay away from IPS panels like this one. They produce washed out blacks. Go for the 900 series for a VA panel. But I'd you have a wide living room and need wide viewing angles I'd still go for the 800 series.

You know, I've seen the same TVs with a RTINGS score of 5.5 for viewing angles on VA panels, and I've seen them in person, and I couldn't believe how much of a viewing angle shift you won't notice in real life viewing scenarios like moving images (ie movies, etc) rather than static images.

Looks like Sony beefed up the specs of the 2020 X750H compared to the previous 2018 X750F. The upgrades include a picture processor and wide color gamut with TRILUMINOS display both of which were not present in the 2018 X750F.

They look pretty similar in specs. I would get the 65" 750H($748) over the 65" 800G($848) and the 55" 800G($498) over the 55" 750H($598) based on the prices at Walmart today.

This TV is par with a 70" TCL 4 series or a Vizio V series which are much cheaper.... that's the extra cost and it's not worth due to a better build quality

To each his own. Not everybody sees value in a Vizio or TCL, myself included.
