The soundtrack really adds to the movie. Probably wouldn't be the same without it. Fun movie. Looking forward to the new movie hopefully this year.

This is the 1986 original film.
The other is the 2020 sequel titled "Top Gun: Maverick" due to hit theaters in December.

War of the Worlds and Days of Thunder is on iTunes in 4k for $9.99. Top Gun is $9.99 also, but currently only shows HD.

It's an iconic movie, it is newly available in 4K, and people may want to watch it again before the sequel is released.
