Xfinity Flex 4K streaming device w/peacock plus free Only if you just have internet

I received an email from Comcast

this is only free if you only have internet service

Included with your service: a Flex 4K streaming device

https://www.xfinity.com/learn/fle...x_Redesign

It is basically like a Firestick or Roku box. It is free and one nice thing is that it does combine the shows from Amazon and Netflix together which is pretty nice.

One odd thing is that a YouTube review says it does not include HULU, or CBS but their web site says it does?

It is a loaner, no fee, but comcast owns the device.

For XFINITY internet customers only.

No cost at all zip zero and you get peacock plus according to the web site, I needed another streaming device sine my Rokus were EOL and my daughter's Apple TVs did not support Disney+.

I don't understand why Comcast does this, but just as a reminder, these offers only seem to work if you're an internet only customer. If you have TV services you can't take advantage of these.

I have this. It's laggy. The free content is same as Roku and Amazon firestick. It just opens up another app. Only good thing is peacock subscription is included

Didn't work for me. I got forwarded to: https://www.xfinity.com/error/buy...=DFPLN5001

The title of the page says "Sorry" and the text says:

You can already get the entertainment you love anywhere, on any device with the Xfinity Stream App.
Everything is included at no additional cost, only for Xfinity TV customers.
I have a double play (internet + tv)...so as the poster a few posts above had stated, you can't seem to get this if you already have TV with them.

will work if you have a smart TV I like the fact that I can browse all of the shows in one place, with all the services I have it is hard to figure out where a particular show may be located.

Since you don't own it, then if it breaks it is on them!

Another thing I did not like about this box is the menu looks pretty low resolution. Shows are supposedly in 4K (when available) but still kind of weird looking.

Useless if you have a smart TV.
Most smart TVs are slow compared to Chromecast, Roku, or Fire stick. Not sure how this device handles tho.

True if you have a slow tv, this would be ok. I got the flex offer from Comcast as well, but since my Samsung already have those apps and is pretty fast, I'd rather not take something then lose it later and have to repay them.
