If I do get the sprite fridge, is it still ok to keep coke in it?
Yes, these do get cold after a while.
But, as soon as you open the door, all the cold is lost and it has to start all over.
Not sure how this is useful. It takes a long time to cool down and has zero retention, and it's only good for 6 cans of soda. Would make more sense to get a mini fridge that you could hold more than 6 cans in, or simply get up and walk to the regular fridge.

This was a FP deal last month for the Classic Coca-Cola fridge.

Now the Coke Zero, Diet Coke, Fanta, Sprite fridges are on sale for $29.

Everyone says how these take a while to cool down and don't retain the cold, but is one use for this having it under your desk at work and drinking 1 a day? That way even if the cold is lost, by your DC the next day, it'll cold again?

I guess it might be fine if you don't have to pay the electricity bill?

I have one of these and the way you described is basically how I use it. I have it in my bedroom and once a day I grab a seltzer and it's always cold. I also store a small food item like a tub of hummus on the top shelf. For $29 this has been a great purchase for me personally.

The only issue is that the motor and fan on the back of these should be cleaned regularly as they attract a lot of dust and the fan motor can get loud after a while. As long as you learn regularly these are okay for what they are. My daughter keeps a couple of bottles of water in her room and she loves it.

I posted that deal, too! Smilie It was a one-day deal on a Frigidaire retro fridge/cooler (not this fridge).
