I compared the prices at Nootropics Depot, which is where I buy a lot of other supplements. However the cost ratio for Sensoril is much higher at ND than it is at Swanson, per capsule. By almost double. And since Sensoril is a patented formula, your can expect the same quality from any brand.
Therefore, Swanson is the best deal on Sensoril. For KSM-66 I have not price compared.

Swanson:
https://www.swansonvita
$13.20 / 60 = $0.22 per capsule,
1c = 250mg, 250mg(60)= 15,000mg total
https://www.swansonvita
$9.11 / 120 = $0.075 per capsule ($0.15 for 2x dose to match 250mg)
1c = 125mg, 125mg(120)= 15,000mg total
NootropicsDepot:
https://nootropicsdepot
$15 / 90 = $0.166 per capsule ($0.332 for 2x dose to match 250mg).
1c = 125mg, 125mg(90) = 11,250mg total
$25 / 180 = $0.138 per capsule ($0.276) for 2x dose to match 250mg).
1c = 125mg, 125mg(180) = 22,250mg total.
Powders will undoubtedly be cheaper on ND, but that is a different kind of investment too (you need a MG scale first). I usually knock on Swanson as I don't feel quite confident about their quality control, but Natural Factors seems to be unrelated, so that looks like a good buy. That said, considering the mg value is so high, the product in the OP should be okay even if it doesn't have ashwaganda in an extract form. Been a good lesson to consider alternatives if the formula is patented.

Good math there, always nice to chat with someone who appreciates the details of unit cost.
In my calculations I divided down into cost per dose, which for Sensoril is 125mg across the board. Comparing ND powder to Swanson capsule amounted to ND = $0.07 /dose and Swanson = $0.08 /dose.
For most people that do not have a milligram scale, Swanson is the better deal. Even with a milligram scale, the time it takes to weigh out or even capsulize the powder is valued higher than a single penny in dose cost difference.
Therefore on this product I vote for the Swanson brand. However I will generally agree with you that powders are almost always the better deal. If one is interested in building customized stacks for themselves, it is the overall preferred way to go.
