I saw this in Costco's Memorial Day savings email. Can anyone share thoughts?

It seems LG's often receive poor marks unless they are OLED.

I've been watching TV prices in the 75" to 85" range. Looking to jump on something in the $1k-$2k range.

If HDR matters to you at all, then don't buy an LG LCD, since peak brightness and contrast ratio are typically poor in the LG LCD offerings.

$1469? I thought it'd be $879 for the 75" and $1699 for the 86" C8 set from this week saving books, https://www.costco.com/online-offers.html. I'm going for the 86"

was excited untill I saw the down votes. looked like a good deal esp considering that it has a native 120 refresh rate. are there other better deals? insights please.

It's an edge lit panel with poor local dimming and poor HDR performance
