Monoprice Caliber Slim Bezel In-Wall Speakers, 8in Fiber 2-Way (pair)

Silly good price. I don't know how they could even sell for so cheap with free shipping.
That's $16.50 a speaker shipped.
scoring is 279 reviews and 4.8 average review score.
I've not heard them - but at this price, if I needed speakers for a garage or secondary home theater room, I'd probably jump.

I think i'll build that little amp into the right speaker and make a connection to the left channel so I don't need to make an external box for the amp itself.
Thank OP - super cheap and easy solution.
P.S. If anyone wants a crack at making your own bookshelf speakers, it is super easy. Because of the in-wall design you only need a prefabricated and enclosed container then cut-out the dimensions for the these which are: 8.70" x 12.76" (221 x 324 mm) Make sure the container itself is larger than this: 9.7" x 13.8" x 3.9 (247 x 350 x 100 mm). Go as fancy as you want for the external speaker connections. I will be using these: https://www.amazon.com/RuiLing-4-...B07QNWP9WH simple 3in cut hole, line with foam tape then slot them in and screw them down. You'll have a speaker set you can be proud of in less than 2 hours.
With a 3.5" depth of the 2x4 plus 1/2" drywall (or likely any other finish material), there should be enough room.

Thanks bud. I have Presonus for $99. They sound beautiful and don't need an amp if anyone is looking for good monitor speakers.
Better than $33/pair? Sounds like a value...
