Silly good price. I don't know how they could even sell for so cheap with free shipping.

That's $16.50 a speaker shipped.

scoring is 279 reviews and 4.8 average review score.

I've not heard them - but at this price, if I needed speakers for a garage or secondary home theater room, I'd probably jump.

These are great! I'm using to build custom bookshelves right now. This is my favorite amp for custom sound boxes: https://www.amazon.com/Bluetooth-...B07XG33WPN When you use a 24v 5amp power supply its 76watts per channel at 8ohm and these are RMS 80w. Perfect match.

I think i'll build that little amp into the right speaker and make a connection to the left channel so I don't need to make an external box for the amp itself.

Thank OP - super cheap and easy solution.

P.S. If anyone wants a crack at making your own bookshelf speakers, it is super easy. Because of the in-wall design you only need a prefabricated and enclosed container then cut-out the dimensions for the these which are: 8.70" x 12.76" (221 x 324 mm) Make sure the container itself is larger than this: 9.7" x 13.8" x 3.9 (247 x 350 x 100 mm). Go as fancy as you want for the external speaker connections. I will be using these: https://www.amazon.com/RuiLing-4-...B07QNWP9WH simple 3in cut hole, line with foam tape then slot them in and screw them down. You'll have a speaker set you can be proud of in less than 2 hours.
"Mounting Depth 3.66" (93mm)"
With a 3.5" depth of the 2x4 plus 1/2" drywall (or likely any other finish material), there should be enough room.
I think you are lost. No one here is looking for powered monitors.

Yeah looks like you would need to put these in ceiling or 2x6 walls. Looks like the 6.5" small size would barely fit in 2x4 walls as long as no insulation/exterior wall.

Any suggestions for a cheap amplifier with wifi/Bluetooth? Would be great for the garage.

Yes, you need an amp separately. They need power

Have these speakers and they're fine for the price. Definitely need to add a subwoofer though as the low end is awful. If you have the money, I highly recommend spending a few dollars more on the JBL SPIIs. I have those as well and they a much better speaker for the money.

Thanks bud. I have Presonus for $99. They sound beautiful and don't need an amp if anyone is looking for good monitor speakers.

Better than $33/pair? Sounds like a value...
