For added slickness stack this with the Lowe's GC deal available from Newegg.

My work is 100% M12 and M18. My boss buys all the tools, even though he's all-in on DeWalt at home. We do maintenance work for 8 different 100+ unit apartment buildings and like 3 subvisions worth of homes and townhomes. Everything that doesn't require a licensed steamfitter we do in-house. That 90% figure is very accurate. We only break out the M18 for the biggesr jobs or the tools that don't have M12 versions like yard tools. My boss worked in construction for forever, and he uses the Milwaukee and DeWalt platforms, so I'd say between the 2 it depends on the better deal at the time, or which platform you're already invested in if you don't want a table of different chargers. For me, everything I have is M12 so far, got some more "heavy duty" projects coming up. Toss up between starting on M18s or these, personally.

Worth the additional $110?
Didn't open this yet: https://slickdeals.net/f/14014784-ymmv-dewalt-4-tool-20-volt-max-power-tool-combo-kit-w-case-in-store-only-ymmv-149-5?v=1&src=SiteSearch

Primarily need the drill and impact; are the brushless options that better? The brushed impact seems stronger on paper.
Appreciate your input.

Good deal, 9 available in my local store at $269.00, Actual price was $399.00, Save 32%, Offer ends on July 8. These are the brushless if that's important for you. Pulled the trigger on a deal about a month ago but I wish I had held out for this one!

Nice, had ordered at 299 but it's still not ready for curbside pickup. Canceled and reorderd at 269. I plan to sell the drill and driver locally since I don't need them.

I picked up the DCK299P2 kit that is on-sale at Homedepot. Better drill and driver plus 2 5Ah batteries. Still more for than this kit, but if you work your tools hard you will want those instead. Adjustable speeds and stronger.

This or the Dewalt ATOMIC 2+1 deal where my +1 would be the oscillating tool?

I literally just returned that same deal for this one. Lowes and Home Depot are going to know me by name with all of the returns I've been doing on Dewalt combo kits because of all of these deals.

For me the ATOMIC kit was comparable to this one for the drill and driver. Drill in this one is slightly better, driver in other is slightly better. But in both kits it is negligible.

So I figured for the extra $70 you get the flashlight and sander and the batteries are 2.0 instead of 1.3.

I needed a sander anyways so it's almost like getting a discount on the sander, the flashlight for free, and slightly more powerful batteries.... for me anyways.

Pulled the trigger on this even though I already have a cheap holife sander I got in a deal on here two weeks ago. The oscillating tool here is better than the atomic.

Damn, I'm still waiting for Acme Tools to ship the M12 Fuel Hammer/Impact set with bonus ratchet.... I'm pretty tempted to cancel and jump on this platform since I need an orbital sander as well.
