The last 3 times I ordered these I recieved the newer version of these bulbs , that has a greatly improved performance, especially under Hubitat. they also work well on smartthings, and for under 6 bucks for a color bulb, it's a great deal and a nice way to tell Hue to bug off, with their insane prices.
You'll want to update the bulbs firmware. This will happen automatically with ST or with Lightify. I'm not sure about echo plus hub tho?

Great price. I've got a couple of can lights I'll switch these into.

Yes you can configure it that way. Keep light switch on and don't use it for turning off. You can close the light or change the color from ST app( I'm using it with old app, it should work with new as well)

I have various lights from Sylvania. The colors aren't as intense as Philips are. So yellow is kinda light yellow, same with red, it's a darker pink versus pull on red like other companies bulbs are. For the price though, I'm in.

Which seller did you buy from when you got the newer versions of the bulb? I see that there are a few different sellers and I'd prefer not to get some cheap knockoffs. I have a few Lightify bulbs and switches and they seem to work fine with SmartThings, so I may take the plunge on a 4-pack...

I am using a lot of Sylvania lights with Samsung Smartthings no issues so far. MOre than 40 bulbs. I also have may be 8 hues. I would say Hue you have much better control over lights with their own app but for smartthings they are pretty much the same.
Also Hue little bit better colors. I dont think it worth the extra money.

Don't even attempt to use ligtify hub, it just doesn't work.

I used to replace flood lights on porch. They are slightly smaller and wasp are nesting in additional space. Any suggestions. Thank you

I have Sylvania and Philips Hue light strips and bulbs. You get what you pay for. Sylvania colors just aren't on point as the Hue. The colors on the Sylvania are just off when you try to select the correct one. This is just my opinion. I love the price though but the colors suck.

I bought these a few weeks ago and only 4 maintain a connection with my Smart Things hub. Anyone know why? The others aren't more than 60 feet away and some that lose connection are in line of sight with the hub.

Time to change the damn ge bulbs that lose their pairing over time (I think due to electrical fluctuations)

I have Sylvania lights, but mostly hue bulbs. I love the animations I can do with hue with apps like iConnectHue. Is there a way I can do animations like that with Sylvania and smartthings?

Right, there's a seller who is offering Amazon prime shipping, but I'd take longer shipping for the newer bulbs. OP can you confirm which seller you used previously?
