Good deal,

The title on Lowe's is incorrect. They only call this the Indoor camera but it's model 8SC1S9-WEN0 which is the indoor/outdoor camera. Even the pictures on Lowe's website shows the unit outdoors.

Excellent catch. I was able to save an extra $8 per camera with the 10% military discount and ended up ordering two. Plus it was free shipping

Do the $30 off $50 still work on these? 👀

Just FYI, don't get this if you plan to keep it in a medium to high traffic area. I got the 3 pack from Costco and ended up exchanging them for the wired one since the battery only lasted a month at best. It's a pain to pull out the battery, wait 5-6 hours for it to charge and then put it back in, every month.

I easily solved this problem by purchasing an extra battery for $30 and keeping it charged. When I get the email notification that the battery is getting low, I exchange it with the freshly charged one. Then I charge and repeat. I have 6 cameras and its very convenient. I love these cameras. The ones that are in low use areas last for several months.

Yep, buying a second battery was the best decision ever, just keep one charged and when the other one is low just swap it out and go.

You can also buy a solar panel for about $30 and never have to worry about charging the battery. The Ring solar panel is $50, but there are compatible variants available.

Yup. I have a stickup cam mounted above our garage door with a knock off solar panel charging it. Never have needed to change out the battery. I got a generic charger for $40 from Amazon:

Same issue here - the cameras can be converted to wired. The screw on the top, back of camera comes out. AMZN sells the cords. I can post a link if you need it. works well

Or you can get a couple of extra batteries and have them ready and charged in hand

Considering at the time that the wired ones were the same price as the battery ones, didn't make sense to spend extra cash to buy batteries for the extra hassle of switching them out. Not to mention, the wired ones are also POE capable, it seemed like the way to go. More specific to my case, I have these cams mounted on the ceiling and I need a chair/ladder to switch out the battery, it got old fast.

Hey can you post the link to the cord? I am thinking about getting one and would like to not keep switching out batteries.

I'm also seeing this for $84.99 so I'm guessing the $80 deal is dead. $5 dollar more won't break the bank, it just sucks I missed the deal haha

I would like to mount this inside my house right behind a window, does anyone have experience in using it this way or have any issues?

Sure. I bought two different ones, both work well. Given the current prices, I'd go with the cheaper one unless you nees/want the flat cable.

I'm posting the description, plug it into the search box on AMZN.

First one:
LANMU Power Adapter for Ring Stick Up Cam Battery,Weatherproof Outdoor Power Cable and Charger Compatible with Ring Stick Up Cam Battery HD Security Camera (20ft/6m)
For reference- currently $22.99 I purchased 12/30/20 for $14.99

2nd cord:
TOODOO Power Adapter Compatible with Ring Stick Up Cam Elite HD Security Camera, with Weatherproof 20 ft/ 6 m Cable, Continuously Charge Camera, No Need to Change Battery (White)
For reference- currently $16.99 I purchased 12/30/20 for $12.99
