Is this a good deal? I'm actually in need of a mower ASAP. Can any lawn mower Connoisseurs comment?

Ouch. I just read reviews on Amazon for this item. They're not great. https://www.amazon.com/Kobalt-Bru...merReviews

The one on Lowe's is not the same as the one in your Amazon link. I have the one on Amazon. Bought it second hand with 5Ah battery for 130 total and has worked fine for my ~3,000 sf of grass. I also got the SD on the weed eater with 2.5Ah and love it

But, I probably wouldn't buy the one on Lowe's. It looks like an older and smaller model

How is this compared to WORX from the eBay deal from the link below?

Worx has a 13" cutting diameter. If you get that one, hopefully you have a tiny lawn or you'll be mowing awhile. Probably not much better than a string trimmer besides it having wheels.

I have this mower. It works pretty well for my small yard. I like it since it's cordless and easy to maintain than gas mower. But I would recommend self propelled version if you have a large yard.

Small battery and a small cutting deck. Just by those two stats alone I wouldn't go with this mower.

Relative to the Greenworks it's still a poor value. For $120 more, you get:

1. Bigger and more powerful battery
2. Self propelled
3. Bagging capabilities
4. 21" deck - Even for a small lawn bigger deck = less battery cycles
That's also 60% more expensive.

I have the 80v version of this mower from lowes, an older self-propelled model than what they sell now. I cant imagine having less power than what the 80v provides unless you mow multiple times a week. I go through two 2.5ah batteries on my third acre. In general though I love the mower and am currently waiting on a new 6ah greenworks compatible battery I'm going to modify to fit in the kobalt.

I have the push assist one of this (I think $100 more) and while the lawn mower itself is great these batteries do NOT last. I'm not sure exactly what's wrong with them (they get pretty hot) but I've had to go through at least two replacements in the year I've had it.

I would get a different brand because the batteries are not reliable.
