  • This fan offers the options you need on the jobsite. Add it to your 20V MAX system of tools, or run it by a extension cord (sold separately) . Stand it up, hang it, or mount it where you need, so it's not in the way. Plus, it offers variable speed control, so you can set the power you want.

I never thought I'd use this after buying previously on impulse. Great for welding outside. No cords and keeps fresh air coming at my face. Big battery runs it a long time too.

Yeah, it's expensive. I was surprised at how quiet it is at low settings and it moves a ton of air across the room.

I am not going to lie... the power cord situation is STUPID, but it's flawless on batteries.

I recommend it only to people who are snobby about their fans (lots of air flow, quiet) and don't mind paying more for it. Otherwise if noise levels do not bother you, then there are several cheaper options.

Intermittent usage will last a lot longer, but we get about 6 months out of these before the blades fly apart from fatigue. So far, warranty has replaced them, but we have a service center close by. For certain, the extension cord for AC is quite expensive...

Seems like this is the lowest it's been, I just need to see if I want to spend $80 on a fan.

Does anyone know if this is good use for camping? Mostly use for night time during summer camping.

Picked up one of these fans when Acme had the buy two tools -- get two free 5ah batteries, charger & bag kit. (Fan was $119, orbital sander $129 = $248 total, minus at least $120 battery kit value = $128 cost for fan and orbital SO ABOUT $68 EACH)
Love the portability, versatility, quietness, lots of power and lasts a long time on battery power.
I ran on medium speed for 10 hours with a 3ah battery and still had a bar left. Ran on max speed with 5ah battery somewhere between 10-12 hours before it died. Ran on low with 5ah and it seemed like it lasted 2 days.
Even the wife approves because we've found so many uses for it around the house, not to mention will come in handy at the beach, camping etc.
Hope this helps.
